Tooth-Colored Fillings

The results were easy to see, and gave smiles a darker appearance. Thankfully, you can now have natural looking, tooth-colored fillings. A tooth-colored filling utilizes a special resin that can be shaped and shaded by our doctors. Requiring less removal of healthy tooth structure, the resin bonds to your tooth, creating a seal that better protects against leakage and future decay. Tooth-colored fillings are also as durable as their silver amalgam counterparts, and they don’t contain dangerous mercury. You might even consider replacing your existing silver fillings with tooth- colored ones.
